In order to achieve one of the main objectives of the project, “raising awareness among adult educators, refugees and migrants, of the role and importance of learning history for integration”, the History Box consortium has launched the Policy Paper.

what is the Policy Paper?

To achieve our objectives on a sound basis we started by carrying out research at national level in each of the consortium countries to identify projects, initiatives and resources that represent good examples of the inclusion of historical topics in existing integration programmes.

This document brings together the results of the research carried out in Sweden, Italy, Austria, Spain and Belgium and contains information on the context in each country with regard to migrant integration; programmes and resources made available by states, policy recommendations and good practices.

 The document is intended for both trainers and those working in adult education and is available in English and in each of the consortium languages, Spanish, French, German, Swedish and Italian.
